NEW GLASGOW - The students of New Glasgow artist/art teacher Lyn-Sue Wice will have their work on display at a special exhibit on April 13.
The students, who range in age from seven to 18 years, will show their artwork in the New Glasgow-NSCAD Community Residency Studio, located behind the New Glasgow Fire Station.
All of Wice's students were asked to choose two pieces of their artwork for the show. The students use paint, oil pastel, coloured pencil, shading, and ink pens and there will be a bit of everything in the show.
"I wanted to have this show for my youth to encourage them to continue to draw while learning to express themselves creatively. They are really proud of the artwork that they have completed this year and are excited to let other people share in their enthusiasm. They never get to see what the other classes have done or to see all of the work together in one space," Wice said.
"The students are really excited to show their work, not only to family and friends but also to a wider public audience."
The show will run from 6:30-8 p.m. on April 13.
