NEW GLASGOW – Eventide Art Hub’s latest show in the Look Up Art Gallery begins tonight with new drawings by Morgan Salter.
Salter, one of three NSCAD-New Glasgow artists-in-residence, will be showing her current series of drawings, titled Warp and Weft.
It references imagery derived from the reduction of patterned textiles and plays with ideas of decoration, craft and structure, a newsletter from Eventide says. Her previous work includes large-scale drawings exploring narratives of home and personal space.
The opening reception runs from 7 until 9 p.m. on Friday.
Salter’s work will be available to view until April 27.
