PICTOU – The music of one of Nova Scotia’s most renowned singers will come to life at the deCoste Centre in a sweeping tribute “Snowbird: The Life and Times of Anne Murray” starring Laura Gillespie on July 17 at 8 p.m.

The show is about the pride of Springhill who was the first Canadian female solo artist to go No. 1 on the American Billboard chart, sell a gold record in both Canada and the U.S. and sell more than 54 million albums during her career.

This multi-media show will take the audience back through four decades of hits, career highlights, and features songs like Cotton Jenny, Daydream Believer, Could I Have This Dance, What About Me, and the one that started it all, Snowbird. 

Starring Gillespie, together with her seven-piece band, they deliver a genuine reproduction of Murray’s work.
