NEW?GLASGOW?- Town council has severed a development agreement with ECL Development Limited.
The company, which had planned to transform the old West Side School property, which burned down in 2006, into condominiums, requested that the agreement be discharged.
Town CAO Lisa MacDonald said the move was supported by the town's Planning Advisory Committee.
"The company had proposed to sell the condominiums before developing the property, but they never reached that magic number, so they asked to discharge the agreement," she explained.
