Plane crash in Pictou County

A green and white Cessna crashed into the woods behind a home on the Little Egypt Road on Monday afternoon.

Pictou County RCMP responded to the crash along with a Canadian Forces CC-130 Hercules aircraft. RCMP Sgt. Phil Oliver said both occupants of the aircraft walked away from the scene uninjured.

Oliver said the site will be turned over to the Transportation Safety Board who will assess what happened.
