TORONTO - The Canadian Press has teamed up with U.S.-based advertising technology company Extreme Reach Inc. to provide a Canadian digital television and radio ad distribution service.
Canada's national news agency and Extreme Reach of Needham, Mass. said late Friday they have launched Extreme Reach Canada.
They said the new company will provide services to help ad agencies and commercial production houses digitally distribute radio and television ads, including high definition TV commercials, to broadcasters across Canada and the United States.
Financial terms of the partnership were not revealed.
The new ad network partnership is part of the commercial services business of the Toronto-based news agency, which provides English and French news stories, photos, graphics, audio and online video to daily newspapers, broadcasters, websites and commercial clients.
Extreme Reach is a private company based in New England, with offices in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Louisville, Ky.
