Charlottetown prepares to welcome 42 cruise ships in 2010

CHARLOTTETOWN - The port of Charlottetown is preparing to welcome 42 cruise ships next year.
The first ship, Atlantica, is expected to arrive April 21 with more than 3,000 passengers and crew aboard.
Some of the bigger ships will include the Crown Princess, carrying 3,100 passengers, and the Atlantica, with more than 2,600 aboard.
In 2009, 41 cruise ships visited Charlottetown, most of them arriving after September.
