This brings to a close the Margaret C. Munroe Memorial Scholarship Committee. The dedication of the chairperson, Isabel Morton, who passed away on April 3 of this year, was most commendable. Over the past 18 years, 25 scholarships have been awarded to very talented individuals. Many of these people have gone on to become professional performers or music educators. It is the end of an era and it was a “good run!”
