Detox time around the corner

It’s close to that time of the year when we should all think about detoxifying our bodies, including our liver, intestines and lymphatic system. Some people may think that they must follow a strict diet, however, this is not the case as one can eat such things as fruit, vegetables, chicken, turkey, fish and wheat-free grains and pasta.

There are several cleanses available, however, one should first consult with an ND or well informed health practitioner before beginning this journey on their own.

Adding squeezed real lemon to your water aids in cleansing the liver. Herbs such as garlic, red clover, dandelion root, licorice root and burdock root can aid in this process.

A fat flush is something you may want to look into. There are a few of us doing the cleanse… detoxifying the fat in our bodies. Go to my Facebook page and learn more. Learn about the benefits of unsweetened cranberry juice. There is some information about GLA (Gamma Linoleic acid) – oil gel caps that help flush out unwanted fat storage.

It’s a 14-day cleanse and you can do it yourselves.

I agree that Spring time is a much better time to detox than January if it's still winter where you live. Much better to wait until it's warmer and all the new season's produce is available.
