Welcome to the Kin Capsule for the month of May.  Our year is beginning to wind down but you would never know it with the flurry of activity still ahead of us.  As our loyal bingo players already know the Kinsmen and Kinette hall bingos have ceased for the year and we would like to thank you all for your generous support you have given us.  We look forward to bingo start-up again in the fall.  Remember though that Kinsmen T.V. continues every Thursday at 6 p.m. On Eastlink TV through out the year.

The annual Kinsmen Cash Dinner was held last week and was once again a great success and from all reports it was a fun and enjoyable evening.

Both clubs held their elections for the club executives for 2014-2015 and congratulations to in-coming presidents Tony Hessian and Leanne Mathews  and both their teams.  I am sure they will have a fun and successful year leading both our clubs.

Two exciting projects still to take place in May are the MS Walk on May 25th and Jail Your Boss on May 28 - 31.  The MS Walk will be held in Trenton Park and we are asking that Pictou County once again throws their support to this most worthy project.  The registration desk opens at 1pm for the walk.

Jail Your Boss is a fun way to support Kinsmen projects - send your boss, fellow workers or spouse to "jail" in the Highland Square Mall for just $1 a minute (30 minute minimum sentence).  Arrests will take place throughout the day from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursday and Friday and from 10 am to 6 pm on Friday and from 10am to 2 pm on Saturday.  To arrange "arrests" call 759-4899; photos will be available for a small fee.

Next month will be the final capsule for this Kin year but will resume in the fall.
