Food product left on stove causes small fire in home

NEW GLASGOW - New Glasgow Fire Department responded to a minor fire on George Street on Tuesday morning.
Interim fire chief Doug Dort said the department put out a small stove fire that started from a food product left on the stove.
"There was a little bit of smoke damage, nothing too serious," Dort said.
