Petit scores twice as Rouyn-Noranda earns 4-2 victory over Rimouski

Monday's victory was well worth the wait for the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.
Felix Petit scored a pair of goals, including the eventual game winner with 7:12 in regulation, as the Drakkar downed the Rimouski Oceanic 5-3 in QMJHL action.
Petit's 14th goal of the season gave Baie-Comeau (10-21-4-2) a 4-2 lead in a game rescheduled from Sunday due to poor weather. Sebastien Piche moved the Oceanic (22-17-0-0) to within one at 14:33, but Pierre-Luc Lessard put the game away with an empty netter in the final seconds.
The win ended the Drakkar's three-game losing streak, while sending Rimouski to its fourth straight defeat.
Elsewhere in the QMJHL on Monday, it was: Gatineau 5 Lewiston 4; and Val-d'Or 5 Rouyn-Noranda 2.
At Baie-Comeau, Que., Guillaume Langelier-Parent and Stephane Michaud added singles for the Drakkar, while Gabriel Bourque chipped in with two assists.
Logan MacMillan and Felix Lafrancois had the other Oceanic goals.
Marco Cousineau stopped 35 shots to earn the win for Baie-Comeau.
Maxim Gougeon made 24 saves - including one on a Bourque penalty shot midway through the second period - for Rimouski.
Olympiques 5 Maineiacs 4
At Lewiston, Maine, Jean-Philip Chabot scored twice in Gatineau's win over the Maineiacs.
Mitchell Porowski, Alexandre Touchette and Joshua Domingues, with the game winner, added singles for the Olympiques (17-18-1-2).
Maxime Gratchev, Eric Gelinas, Alexander Beaton and Danick Paquette replied for Lewiston (13-26-0-0).

At Val-d'Or, Que., Francois Gauthier had two goals as the Foreurs beat Rouyn-Noranda.
Jonathan Hazen, Derek Famulare and Shawn Morton-Boutin had singles for Val-d'Or (9-25-1-3).
Marc-Andre Bourdon and Alexandre Mallet countered for the Huskies (19-14-3-2).
