Two drug busts, one town, one night

STELLARTON - Drugs and weapons were seized in two incidents in Stellarton Tuesday night.
The Municipal Street Crime Unit and the Pictou County RCMP Street Crime Enforcement Unit were conducting a vehicle stop on King Street Tuesday as part of a drug trafficking investigation in the town.
As a result of the stop, a 43-year-old male Pictou resident and a 48-year-old male New Glasgow resident were arrested and charged with various sections of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Charges include possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of drugs.
Seized evidence includes Cocaine, Oxycontin, Dilaudid (Hydromorphone), Ritalin and Cyclobenzaprine.
Both males will attend provincial court on Nov. 10.
The same night, a raid on Coll Street netted Cocaine, Marijuana, approximately $4,000 in cash and firearms.
A 41-year-old male Stellarton resident was arrested and charged with possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation. He'll answer to those charges Nov. 10.
