To the editor,
Last Saturday I was very fortunate to have the help of two good Samaritans. I set out to do some errands after lunch. I had quite a few items to put in my car - a parcel, a couple of bags, my handbag and my keys. When I looked for my keys to get in the car I couldn't find them. Panic - because I couldn't get back in the house or the car. To cut a long story short, I did find them on the ground. After putting my belongings in the car, I set off for the mall. However, on arrival, I couldn't find my handbag, so back home I went.
When I came to the driveway I saw a light green car there and two people, a lady and young gentleman, waving at me and holding up my handbag. Apparently I had put my bag on top of the car and it had fallen off when I turned to get on Westville Road.
These two people saw what had happened and stopped and proceeded to pick everything up that had scattered over the road. This was especially hard to do because Westville Road is so busy.
In my confusion, I didn't ask their names. It was so kind of them to do that. I hope the two people read this letter because I want them to know how grateful I am to them and to thank them very, very much for their help.
