NEW GLASGOW – The New Glasgow Jubilee has announced another headliner for its Aug. 3-5 event.

Big Wreck will join previously announced acts Joel Plaskett Emergency, Classified, Kim Mitchell, Matt Andersen and more.
Big Wreck will make their first appearance on the Jubilee stage on Saturday, Aug. 4. One of Canada’s favourite guitar-driven bands from the 1990s, the band is known for its hits “That Song” and “The Oaf.”
For this first time since 2001, Ian Thornley has put his solo career on hold and reassembled Big Wreck. The band has been enjoying a rousing return to the airwaves, currently holding the #1 Rock Single in the country for the sixth week in a row.

Albatross, the third studio album, is now in stores and on iTunes under the independent “Anthem” record label.
“We're exploding with excitement to have the hottest rock band in the country added to an already stellar lineup,” says Jubilee executive director Carlton Munroe. “It's so great to have one of the great bands of the past two decades back on the scene, and what a comeback.”
