David Myles is not just a sharp dresser, he is also a five time Music Nova Scotia Award winner, five time East Coast Music Award Winner and most recently awarded 2013 Juno awarded winner for Rap recording of the year “Inner Ninja”.

Although the Halifax-based, Fredericton-bred Myles is now back home in Halifax to celebrate his new CD “In the Nighttime," he still no doubt feels the pressure to deliver on his latest collaboration. However, I suppose after being recognized within the industry numerous times by winning multiple awards gives him the confidence needed to face such pressure head-on.

An old fashioned entertainer, a warm, easy performer, Myles brings his audiences to their feet from coast to coast  and his familiarity and absolute joy of being on stage is infectious with his audience and complimented by his humorous anecdotes.

While listening to David Myles’ new double album, "In The Nighttime", it leaves me with the impression of him smiling as he sings, even during his more intimate and personal songs. In the Night-Time is Myles’s seventh album and it portrays his musical dexterity highlighting his two different but complemented sides – sultry crooner and energetic showman.

Disc One is a full-length album overflowing with vintage pop songs and romantic folk ballads. Disc Two is a six song EP of contemporary, tracks produced by hip hop artist Classified. One is the soundtrack for your dinner party, while the other gets the dance party started. Each album establishes a different mood, but both are powered by Myles’ superior song writing.

David Myles latest Album “In the Nighttime” is set to be released on May 14, 2013 and can be purchased through his website at www.davidmyles.com.

Saw David Myles in Fredericton last week - Fantastic show - you are right - he loves to perfrom for the audience and of course being from Fredericton he had a few hometown stories to tell. Best show I have been to at Playhouse in awhile. I think he would have stayed all night if the band weren't ready to quit. The Buddy Holly look and James Taylor voice what more could you ask for??? If you get the chance be sure to see this gentleman in person.
