Amanda Lynne Oickle, 24, of Liverpool is charged with one count each of neglect to obtain assistance in childbirth and concealing the body of a child.
Andrew Gary Cunningham, 31, of Liverpool is accused of one count of concealing the body of a child.
RCMP say the deceased baby boy was brought to Queens General Hospital on Monday.
Police believe the baby was born at home last Wednesday.
An autopsy has been done, but police say no formal cause of death has been identified.

I am almost at a loss for words! As I read this story, I can't believe that someone could do this to their own child. I am unable to have children without the assistance of invitro fertilization. This child could have been placed for adoption, and given someone like me a chance to be a mother and have a purpose in life.

The story doesn't tell us how the child died, the parents didn't necessarily do anything to him. People are innocent until proven guilty, even in emotional situations. I hope they didn't intentionally harm the child and feel bad for people who cannot have children on their own, but I don't think we should start giving them advice on what they should have done when we don't even know if the child was born alive.
