Paul Jeans Jr., 37, pleaded guilty to eight counts related to the recents thefts from boats in Pictou Harbour. He was released on strict bail conditions and will be sentenced November 25th in Pictou Provincial Court.
New Glasgow Regional Police arrested a Pictou County man Monday evening after a in-depth investigation involving vandalism and thefts. The 37-year-old adult male was charged in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles, theft from a boat and several acts of vandalism to vehicles including smashed out windows and damage to two other vehicles. He was taken into custody and is currently being held unitl his appearance in provincial court today. Several other charges are pending as the investigation continues. New Glasgow Regional Police Constable Ken Macdonald stated that " this is a significant arrest in our community that has involved numerous victims."
