NEW GLASGOW - Five young alleged assailants, who are said to have stormed an Egerton home Friday evening and attacked those inside, made their way into provincial court one by one Monday morning.
Court documents paint a picture of a violent night at 60 Belle's Lane in Egerton, the residence of Tyler Koszculics.
Two of the five were released on strict conditions: Sylvia Marie McCulloch of New Glasgow, 18, who is charged with an assault on Katelynn Kirk and stealing a bottle of rum from Koszculics. She will return to court Jan. 25.
Aaron Dale Rundle, 22, was released on bail, his parents signing the $3,000 order. Rundle faces six charges, the most serious being two counts of aggravated assault - one against Koszculics and the second against Kevin Briggs. Additionally, Rundle is charged with assaulting RCMP Const. Dan MacDonald and assault with a weapon. In this case, it's said to be a wooden stick. Rundle will return to court Feb. 15.
David Blair Chisholm, 22, of Trenton was sent back to jail. Of the six criminal charges he's accused of, the most serious are aggravated assaults on Koszculics and Briggs.
He will return to enter a plea Feb. 8.
Melissa Dawn Chisholm, 18, also of Trenton, faces eight charges, including assaults against Kirk and Brittany Webb and stealing a bottle of vodka owned by Briggs.
Chisholm will remain in custody until Thursday when she'll have a bail hearing.
Finally Allan Michael Davidson, 21, wound up with nine charges from Friday night's event.
It was Davidson who was allegedly carrying a knife that evening. He's charged with assaulting Koszculics, Briggs, Webb and Kirk. Coupled with previous charges and an additional breach of probation charge added in court Monday, Davidson faces a total of 14 criminal charges.
He was taken back into custody following his appearance and is scheduled to return Feb. 8.
