NEW GLASGOW – A joint effort between the New Glasgow Police Service Major Crime Unit and the Halifax Regional Police Street Crime Enforcement Unit resulted in the arrest of four Halifax County males on theft charges.
New Glasgow Police Service Const. Ken MacDonald said the charges relate to thefts of electronics dating back to September from the Atlantic SuperStore and Canadian Tire.
The four adult males, ranging in age from 22 to 45 are facing charges of theft under $5,000, breach of probation and breach of an undertaking. They will appear in court in March to answer to the charges.
MacDonald said there are additional charges pending against the four with other police agencies in Nova Scotia.
