NEW GLASGOW – A Scotsburn man has been charged with refusing to provide a breath sample to the RCMP.
Larry Herbert MacDonald, 50, was pulled over by police in the Salt Springs area on Feb. 2. Mounties believed that MacDonald had been drinking, but he refused requests for a breath sample.
MacDonald appeared in Pictou Provincial Court on Tuesday and was given his disclosure, which included a CD. He told the court he didn’t intend to seek legal counsel in the case.
Judge Theodore Tax directed MacDonald to review his disclosure and view the CD prior to his return for pleas on April 6.
