NEW GLASGOW (The NEWS) – Low-income families in New Glasgow will be getting a break on their property taxes again this year.

“To alleviate the burden on some of our low-income families, we’re setting the tax exemption rate again this year,” said Coun. Clyde Fraser.

Families who have a total annual income of $17,454 or less can get an exemption of $300 on their property tax in 2010.
