NEW GLASGOW – A woman facing three breach of probation charges and two theft charges has pleaded not guilty to all of the counts.
Although Wanda Annette Neilson, 33, did not appear in New Glasgow Provincial Court on Monday her lawyer, Doug Lloy, said she could not get a ride from Sydney and entered the pleas on her behalf.
The charges include theft from two local Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation outlets on Jan. 23 and Feb. 9, while the breach charges date back as far as Sept. 30, 2009, which include consuming alcohol while prohibited under the terms of her probation.
She’ll go to trial July 28.
