FOX HARBOUR - While British Prime Minister David Cameron is trying to contain a storm of controversy over the News of the World phone hacking scandal, his predecessor Tony Blair is expected to be visiting a pristine area of Nova Scotia.

The ex prime minister is scheduled "to hobnob with the Maritime's top business tycoons," according to a media report, during the 11th annual Frank McKenna Network at the Fox Harb'r retreat on the Northumberland Strait.

The golf resort and spa is owned by former Tim Horton's tycoon Ron Joyce.

The event is scheduled for Friday.
