Motorcyclist taken to hospital



New Glasgow Fire Department and bystanders lift a motorcycle off its driver following a crash Wednesday afternoon. The male motorcyclist was taken to Aberdeen Hospital with non-life threatening injuries after he collided with a car. A witness to the accident said she was driving behind the motorcycle on Abercrombie Road heading north when a driver turning left into the Westside Mall pulled out causing the motorcycle to collide into the car. New Glasgow Police are still investigating the accident. AMY REUSCH – THE NEWS
