NEW GLASGOW – A young girl who has diabetes is in need of an insulin pump and The News is asking for your help in reaching her fundraising goal of $7,500.

Ten-year-old Madison Moulton’s insulin pump broke and she needs a new one to maintain the quality of life a pump provides. It allows youth to not have to worry about needles and allows peace of mind for parents when their child is away from them.

For every person who comes into The News office and donates $25 towards Madison’s insulin pump, his or her name will be put in a draw for a free one-year subscription to The News. Donations to Madison’s insulin pump can also be made at A.G. Baillie Memorial School.
