“Yesterday’s seizure reinforces the clear link between drugs and violence,” says RCMP Federal Support Officer, Inspector John Ryan. “Individuals possessing an AK47 assault rifle, a bullet proof vest, a fully loaded hand gun and participating in the drug trade pose a threat to the safety of our communities."
Insp. Ryan sends a strong reminder to criminals in Nova Scotia who think they can hide from the RCMP, “Simply put, just because you are choosing to conduct illegal activities in smaller communities, don't kid yourself that the RCMP doesn't have the resources to find and apprehend you. Yesterday's arrests and seizures speak for themselves."
