Fire at Michelin in Granton

The Abercrombie Fire Department was called to the Michelin plant in Granton around 4 p.m. today. The RCMP was told there was a small fire, with no injuries and that Abercrombie had been called in to assist Michelin's own fire department as a precaution.

The Abercrombie Fire Department was called to the Michelin plant in Granton around 4 p.m. today.

RCMP Cpl. Andrew Joyce who stopped in to check if police assistance was needed, said he was told there was a small fire, with no injuries and that Abercrombie had been called in to assist Michelin's own fire department as a precaution.

Employees at the gate refused admittance and comment.
