PICTOU COUNTY - Bundle up nice and warm if you're heading out today. The snow ploughs are out in full force as snow continues to fall in the county. It's expected to clear up this afternoon, but excercise extreme caution if you're out on the roads. Here's what Environment Canada forecasts for this weekend:
Today: Flurries. Amount 2 cm. Wind becoming northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 early this afternoon. High minus 6 with temperature falling to minus 9 this afternoon.
Tonight: Partly cloudy with 40 percent chance of flurries this evening. Becoming clear overnight. Wind northwest 30 km/h gusting to 50 becoming west 20 after midnight. Low minus 17 except minus 10 along the Strait. Cold wind chill minus 27.
Sunday: Increasing cloudiness. 40 percent chance of flurries in the afternoon and early in the evening. A few flurries beginning in the evening. Amount 2 cm. Wind west 20 km/h becoming light in the morning. High minus 6. Cold wind chill minus 25.
