The Pictou County Health Authority is offering a free immunization clinic for tetanus and whooping cough Tuesday, not Monday, as stated in Thursday’s paper. It runs 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Summer Street Industries.

Parents and community members who attended a meeting about the potential closure of East Pictou Middle School suggested an option to keep the students together by turning Frank H. MacDonald into a P to 8 school. Frank H. MacDonald is not up for closure by the school board. When people stood up it was to support the option of Frank H. becoming a P to 8 school. No one at the meeting stated that they wanted to see the board choose option two. Incorrect information ran on page 2 of the Jan. 9 edition of The News.
