PICTOU – A county councillor says nothing is being done to correct water pressure issues at Dr. W.A. MacLeod School in Riverton.

Chester Dewar said during Monday’s recent council meeting that a letter was sent in October from Eureka and District Fire Department stating that the water pressure and volume was not sufficient for the MacLeod School.

However, he said, nothing has been done about it.

“This is a priority and we need to find out about it right away,” Dewar said. “I want it to be a priority during the next finance and property services meeting.”
