STELLARTON - The Museum of Industry is sending one of its most lustrous exhibits on a road trip.

The exhibit, GOLD: A Nova Scotia Treasure, has been carefully packed up and is heading for the Nova Scotia Art Gallery, where it will continue to be shining display.

Visitors to the Museum of Industry between Nov. 19 and Dec. 30, 2012 learned about Nova Scotia's gold rushes, how gold was formed 500 million years ago in the province and Nova Scotians who've won or been awarded gold medald.

Created in partnership with the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and the Department of Natural Resources, the Museum of Industry has been spearheading the project.

The exhibit will be returning to the Museum of Industry in May until August.
