Impaired driver arrested on East River Road

New Glasgow Regional Police Service has charged a 55-year-old male from Westville Pictou County at approximately 6:30 p.m. Tuesday with impaired driving as the vehicle was traveling on south on East River Road, New Glasgow.

"The assistance from a member of the general public call to police led to the apprehension of the impaired driver," said Const. Ken MacDonald.

The driver will be appearing in Pictou County Provincial Court on February 25 2013.
