TRENTON - At approximately 4:00 a.m. Sunday morning the Trenton Fire Department and New Glasgow Regional Police Service responded to a house fire at 34 Main Street in Trenton. 

No one was in the house at the time. The house was heavily damaged by the fire, which is suspicious in nature.

The cause is still under investigation.

Anyone with information that could assist police in this investigation is asked to contact the New Glasgow Regional Police Service at 902-752-1941.

Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca, or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
