PICTOU COUNTY – Since Aug 5. 2012, Craig Aucoin and his friend and personal trainer Lloyd MacLean have been training every Sunday morning at the Pictou County Wellness Centre.

In their virtual trek across Canada and as of Jan. 27, the pair has logged about 3,500kms, the country’s halfway point.

“If we were on the road, we’d be in Sault St. Marie, Ontario right about now,” says MacLean.

Aucoin, a blind cyclist from Pictou, was the impetus for the virtual bike across Canada.
