HALIFAX – Nova Scotia’s minimum wage will go up by 1.5 per cent on April 1.

The increase will bring the minimum wage to $10.30 an hour.

The province is also increasing the minimum wage for workers with less than three months’ experience to $9.80 an hour.

The increase is the fourth since 2010.

The province increases the minimum wage annually based on the previous year’s national Consumer Price Index.
