PICTOU COUNTY - If you’re looking to start your morning off right, look no further than www.ngnews.ca.

As the coffee is percolating, take a minute or two to check out our website and be part of the discussion of what’s happening in Pictou County.

Next week, Tuesday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m., reporter John Brannen will be gathering information on weather, schools cancellations, traffic and road conditions and other news in the area and sharing it with you through our website and social media pages.

This new morning segment will invite readers like you to submit photos and news tips, which may in turn be featured on the web.

We’ll be monitoring our Twitter and Facebook pages for up-to-the minute feedback and commentary. If you take a moment to comment on one of our stories, we may bring it to other people’s attention to continue discussion on that topic.

This is your opportunity to connect with The News, by offering your insight, opinion and tips on news in Pictou County and beyond.

Follow John on Twitter @NGNewsJohn.

You can also  give feed back through The News Twitter account @NGNews or our  Facebook page and online anytime at www.ngnews.ca.
