Amy, I'm from New Glasgow PEI and if you knew anything about PEI, you'd know that New Glasgow PEI is a tiny farming community population 150 people and has about 3 businesses. Trust me, Starbucks is definitely not going there! I'd say a safe bet for Starbucks is the Albion Business Park or Westville Road in NG, Pictou County. Ideally, I'd love to see it downtown to revitalize the place (and that may still be the case) but my bet is on the west side or in the Albion Business Park.

It's actually not coming to NG... do your research before you get the younger generation excited. If you look at the locations on starbucks.com there is one in New Glasgow PEI. That is the only location that comes up when you put in New Glasgow. Wait to go NG News. Failing as per usual.

Because PC is full of people who will buy coffee at twice the price? With 20 Tim Hortons in the area? Whoever invests in this will regret it.

I will definitely pay twice the price for Starbucks! I can't even drink Tim Hortons coffee.

Can't wait. Always glad to see new development come to town. Obviously there is a market for the types of product Starbucks provides. Tim's and McDonald's both introduced them to their menu within the last year. Besides Tim Horton's coffee tastes like what I imagine an ashtray filled with rain water tastes like.
