NEW GLASGOW – The New Glasgow Regional Police Service are asking for the public’s help with any information regarding a pair of break and enters in New Glasgow.

The first took place last Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning at Scissor Wizard Hair Salon on MacDonald Street in New Glasgow. The front door was smashed, with several items missing inside.

The second was at the First United Baptist Church on East River Road in New Glasgow. The front door was also smashed with several items being taken from inside. The break-in was found at approximately 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning. Police believe the break and enter occurred sometime early Wednesday morning.

This is the second break-and-enter into a church in the last 30 days, with the first being in Trenton at Christ the King Catholic Church.

Anyone with information can contact the New Glasgow Regional Police Service at 902-752-1941. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca, or 1-800-222-8477.
