Volunteer of the year named for Pictou County

PICTOU - Sharon MacDonald has been selected as the Volunteer of the Year for the Municipality of Pictou County.

MacDonald was one of five people nominated for the honour that is recognized annually by the province. Councillors held a secret ballot Monday and MacDonald received the most votes out of the five nominees.
