Accused in church breakins remanded into custody

PICTOU -  A 27-year-old New Glasgow man charged with breaking into churches and a fire departments will return to court in March.

Keith Alexander Kirk is charged with break and enter into First United Baptist Church on Feb. 6; break and enter into First Presbyterian Church in New Glasgow on Feb. 9 and break and enter into the Trenton Fire Department in Dec. 12, 2012.  He is also charged with break and enter into the Abercrombie Fire Department on Nov. 18. All counts are indictable. 

He has been remanded into custody until March 4, at which time he is expected to enter a plea.
