MacIntyre named CEO of the Pictou County YMCA

Dave MacIntyre has been named CEO of the Pictou County YMCA.

The appointment comes after a selection process with support from YMCA Canada.

With the move to the Pictou County Wellness Centre, the board of directors said they felt the timing was right to realign the association with this position. MacIntyre has been general manager of the YMCA for four years.

“Dave has proven himself as a strong and capable leader both in our YMCA as well as in our community,” said Vivek Sood, board chair of the Pictou County YMCA. “Without doubt, he is the right person to lead the Pictou County YMCA and its expanded, community-focused operations out of our wonderful new facility in the Pictou County Wellness Centre.
