STELLARTON – The Nova Scotia League for Equal Opportunities will be hosting a public disability issues forum at the Museum of Industry.
The forum will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on March 16.
Organizers say they want to hear and talk with people with disabilities about their concerns and the issues they experience in rural areas of Nova Scotia.
Participants are asked to come prepared to tell their stories with issues and concerns and what they believe might be the best solutions.
The event will be facilitated with interpreters for the deaf provided and a panel of experts from various groups related to disabilities.
