WESTVILLE - At approximately 8:30 p.m. last evening police responded to a 911 call of a home invasion at Munroe Avenue Extension, Westville Road.
Preliminary investigation determined that a single male entered a residence with a firearm and assaulted both the male and female home owners. EHS attended the residence and the male victim was transported to the Aberdeen Hospital with non life-threatening injuries, he was later released.
A Police Dog and Identification Services were called to assist with the investigation but the suspect was not located. He is approximately 25 to 35 years-old, 5'8", slim build, wearing dark colored pants and jacket and a black balaclava to conceal his facial features. The investigation is continuing.
