Literacy program now available for children

NEW GLASGOW – Do you know of grade school children in need of assistance with reading and other literacy skills?

Laubach Literacy Pictou County is now prepared to move forward past the pilot project stage and start offering tutoring for youth. The group just completed a successful weekend of ensuring all interested tutors are aware of all aspects of the expectations and outcomes for working with children vs. with adults.

The adult program is continuing per usual.

The service is free, is done on one-on-one and is confidential.
