An adult male and an adult female were arrested. A large quantity of cannabis marijuana was seized. Officers also seized a quantity of what they believe to be cocaine. The man was charged with production of cannabis marijuana and possession of cocaine.

A 28 year old adult male from Broadway has been released from custody and will appear in Pictou Provincial Court in relation to Controlled Drugs and Substance Act on June 24.

They probably botched the investigation just like every other matter we read about in the news. Leave marijuana alone, it keeps people from turning to other drugs. Want to know why marijuana is the so called gateway drug? because it is harmless and has never hurt ANYONE. EVER! Nova Scotia could be making so much money off growing marijuana/hemp. Look at california as an example...billion dollar industry over night!

Probably baking soda,,and if the cops find stalks and seeds they will say they busted a 100,000 dollars worth of dope..Always sensationalized to look like to the public that they are earning their keep. Why don't they bust the real problems like bath salts, crack and other hard drugs that are killing and ruining young peoples lives. There are always two sides to every story and we shouldn't believe everything you hear or read!
