Disability forum on Saturday in Stellarton

STELLARTON – A Public Disability Forum will take place on Saturday, Mar. 16 at the Museum of Industry in Stellarton. All people with disabilities are invited to come to express their disability issues and concerns. 

Persons in attendance will not just be speaking ‘to the wall’, but to a panel of people with expertise in various areas of disability.

In addition, the Nova Scotia Department of Community Services will make a presentation at the forum describing a new approach being undertaken on how its services will be delivered to the public.  

Olga Gladkikh, a professional facilitator from the Coady Institute in Antigonish will be facilitating to make sure all runs smoothly and everyone has a chance to be heard and participate.

The Forum will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a meet and greet and free lunch. For more information call Ralph Ferguson at 485-6740.
