Causeway reopened

An accident on the Pictou Causeway Monday morning caused police to temporarily close the causeway to traffic. Later in the morning, it was reopened to traffic, which was moving slowly around the scene of the accident and through blowing snow.

The Pictou Causeway has been reopened after police shut it down temporarily by blocking traffic with patrol cars. After the causeway was reopened, traffic was moving slowly around the scene of the accident and through blowing snow which was causing whiteout conditions.
