About thirty concerned citizens gathered in front of Pictou East MLA Clarrie MacKinnon’s office on Thursday to protest the continued blowouts of fly ash from the Trenton Generating Station.

WESTVILLE – About thirty concerned citizens gathered in front of Pictou East MLA Clarrie MacKinnon’s office on Thursday to protest the continued blowouts of fly ash from the Trenton Generating Station.

Many protesting in Westville along South Main Street were members of the Hillside-Trenton Environment Watch Association, which aims to stop the fly ash and other harmful emissions from the Trenton Generating Station.

    Glad to see these people are not giving up. And at this stage I don't think they are going giving up. Our children and grand children will thank them some day
