Sgt. Alec Munro looks on as Warrant Officer 2nd Class Christina Cardiff of Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron 374 F/L Chisholm lays a wreath at the Stellarton cenotaph yesterday. The pair, along with other veterans, Canadian Forces members, #110 Wing members, firefighters and cadets from Pictou County, were in attendance at the county's Battle of Britain commemoration. The service marked the 73rd anniversary of Canada's contribution to the long battle fought in the air in defense of Britain from Nazi Germany.

    "The pair, along with other veterans" To whoever wrote this, do you realize your colossal blunder? No disrespect to the fine youngsters in Cadets, but insinuating they are veterans is beyond ignorant and rididculous!
